It started under a lofted bed.
Liam Bohan writes, sings, plays, and mixes his music himself.
He started classical piano at seven; at twelve he took second in the world in piano accompaniment at the Fleadh Cheoil — Irish traditional music's world championships — and won Mid-Atlantic titles with his céilí band. At eighteen he picked up the guitar, and within a year he was writing songs in his dorm room in Cleveland, coming back from class to chase melodies. The songs took shape in a little studio he built under his lofted bed — guitars, keyboard, mic, string lights hanging from the bedframe, posters of When We Were Friends and Freudian on the wall.
